**Role**:
From writing content and pitching news, to building media relationships and reporting, our PR Account Execs work with senior team members to execute campaigns on behalf of our clients and generate positive coverage.

The role presents an opportunity to work across our PR, social media, and creative teams to deliver multi-disciplined campaigns for clients in the UK and Europe.

**Responsibilities**:
Write press releases, news stories, articles, and product stories.

To regularly pitch articles, press releases and feature ideas to national, regional and trade journalists.

To respond to inbound queries from journalists and magazines.

To help secure interviews and editorial meetings with key journalists.

To support clients and team members at industry events,

To brainstorm fresh ideas for PR and social media content.

To monitor media coverage and report results.

**Essential Skills**:
**English language fluency**

**Copywriting**: You must to be hot on spelling, grammar and proof-reading, as well as have a creative flair for producing engaging content with a tech-twist.

**Communication**: From sharing ideas with your team, to pitching stories to journalists, you need to organise information in a succinct and interesting way to capture the targets’ attention.

**Excellent telephone manner**: You will spend a lot of your time talking to clients pitching stories to journalists, so you need to have the confidence to pick up the phone and speak to them, whilst maintaining a positive and friendly tone.

**Timekeeping**: You will often be working to tight media deadlines as well as meeting the demands and pressures of both your team and clients, so you need to be able to work quickly and efficiently, without compromising on quality.

**Resilience**:You need to be confident enough to pick up the phone to journalists and resilient enough to handle criticism and rejection if/ when received. This however, will build with time and practice.

**Software**:You’ll need some skills in Google Apps, Microsoft Office - Word, Excel and Powerpoint - to deliver client content, presentations and reporting.

**Qualifications and Experience**
- No direct agency experience is needed.
- A relevant graduate or undergraduate degree is welcomed, but not essential.
- PR qualifications from the PRCA, Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR), or Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) are welcomed.
