The Role

We're on the lookout for a
Senior Social Media Executive
who's passionate about culture, creativity, and the fast-moving world of social media. You'll use cultural and social insights to help inform digital strategies and shape brand communities.

Working closely with our Head of Social and creative team, you'll help craft engaging, social-first content - from planning and posting around key brand moments to creating fast-paced, reactive content in our in-house studio. You'll play a key role in the day-to-day running of our clients' channels, ensuring everything is executed with flair and precision.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Head of Social on developing social strategies for key clients
• Assist in planning, creating, and scheduling content that reflects the brand tone, personality, and visual identity.
• Collaborate with the creative team on shoots, campaigns, and always-on content.
• Monitor social performance, track key metrics, and help identify insights and opportunities for growth.
• Stay on top of trends, creators, and platform updates to keep our clients ahead of the curve.
• Under the direction of senior team members, support with paid social ads through Meta, TikTok, Pinterest and YouTube Ads Manager platforms (training provided).
• Build brand communities by engaging with followers, responding to DMs and comments, and build meaningful relationships with the community.
• Develop and manage monthly content calendars.
• Manage client social media channels
• Support with Southpaw Social Club's own agency marketing, including channel management and content creation.
• Experience with social content creation is preferable for this role (e.g. in-app editing, CapCut, Canva design), however, additional training can be provided through our studio team.

About You

• 3+ years of experience managing social media for brands or creative communities (agency or freelance).
• Confident in content planning, copywriting, and community engagement.
• Familiar with social tools such as Meta Business Suite, Sprout Social (or similar)
• A creative thinker with an eye for detail
• A genuine interest in social trends, culture and digital communities.
• Strong communicator and team player who enjoys collaborating in a fast-moving, agency environment.
• Passionate about creative culture and growing your career in social media.

  Tunbridge Wells office Tues – Thurs. Monday and Friday WFH

  £30 - 35k
