Job Description The Berkshire Independent Hospital is a private hospital which opened in March 1993. The 40 bedded hospital has three operating theatres and a dedicated endoscopy unit, providing care to patients with private medical insurance, self-pay patients and NHS patients. Surgical specialities include orthopaedics, with a full range of procedures being undertaken. The service is supported by full range of diagnostic services MRI, X-ray and Physiotherapy. Bank Theatre Porter Competitive hourly rate The role The role is physically demanding and involves working with Waste removal, Medical gas bottle changing, Handling and placing deliveries, Movement of patient trolleys and beds, taking in laundry deliveries and plenty of other varied manual handling duties for which full training will be provided. We are currently looking for a dynamic, self-motivated, computer literate person with good communication and interpersonal skills. You will have ideally worked in a similar Porter position previously, however full training will be given.
