I'm recruiting for a Key Account Manager home / field based specification role focused on the Healthcare sector covering London and the South East.
This position is working for a leading building products manufacturer focused on the commercial contract interior market.
Following a successful growth strategy, this newly created role will concentrate on establishing, developing and managing sales within healthcare specifiers, NHS Trusts, healthcare operators as well as the design and build offices of main contractors.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Introducing and raising awareness of the company brands and product offerings to cross-sell to key specifiers and end-users
- Develop a solid business network with Key Healthcare Specifiers, Key NHS Healthcare Accounts and Key Private Healthcare Accounts including connected associations
- Take ownership of key projects and be personally responsible for the growth of the segment turnover
- Manage market research activities and report market trends / requirements to the segment management and R&D
- Proactively participate in relevant events and trade shows
To be considered for this position you need to have specification sales experience from within the building products sector and live within easy commute of London.
Any knowledge of the healthcare sector would be an advantage but is not essential as it is more important that you have a proactive approach and an entrepreneurial mind-set. Additionally, you will posses excellent networking skills and a structured workingapproach and be able to handle complex decision-making structures and long project life-cycles.
On offer is a negotiable salary plus up to 35% commission and car with hybrid option, 26 days + bank holidays, annual discretionary bonus at Christmas, life insurance and death in service, pension 3% employer, 5% employer rising to 6% after 12 months, occupationalHealth Services, employee assistance programme and a discounted Gym Membership.
