**Package: £22-30K basic dependent on experience. Realistic OTE 30K-35K.**

If you’re a bright, tenacious, well presented and a high-energy individual with first-class communication skills we’ll be committed to help drive your career forward. You will be in charge of driving revenue and growth by selling delegate passes as you support the Marketing Director to achieve ambitious goals. Full training given.
This is a fantastic role for someone wishing to make a massive impact in a growing company. As a marketer at GIC, you will play an extremely important role in the company.
**You will be responsible for bringing in delegate revenue for your events, through the following activities**:
- Writing compelling and irresistible copy and marketing campaigns. 10%_
- Sourcing and building new databases of leads and potential new clients in line with various sectors and markets. 10%_
- Working with sponsors, speakers and partners to promote the conference. 7%_
- Sourcing and building relationships with new media and data partners and set up contra deals. 8%_
- Being in charge of the networking room on the day to ensure a smooth running of your event. 2%_
- Website creation and management, with SEO best practices and performance monitoring. 10%_
- PLUS:_
- Working independently, you will be expected to sell at least 12 events annually, managing your own campaigns from launch to post-event reports_
- High revenue targets a month._
- Hitting launch deadlines and achieving weekly targets._
- Calling enquiries and related contacts to inform them about the event to bring in delegate revenue_
- Client handling and going the extra mile for customer service to ensure a smooth customer journey_
- Professional proposals and approaches._
**You will need to have**:
- A commercial mind and determination to succeed.
- An excellent eye for detail, experience in proof reading is an advantage.
- A pro-active, positive and ‘can do’ attitude.
- Proficiency in LinkedIn, Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint.
- An ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
- Maturity and versatility.
- Problem solving, self-motivation and initiative.
