Facilities Senior Operations Manager

**Salary: £55,000 - £62,000**
Our client is Ministry of Justice owned company, delivering safe, high quality and value driven facilities management services to 50 prisons over the South and East of the UK. They are currently on the lookout for an experienced **Facilities Senior Operations Manager**
Within this role you would be accountable for the development and performance of the 'Clean, Rehabilitative, Enabling and Decent’ programme. Where you would be reporting directly to Operations Director, the role of **Facilities Senior Operations Manager** will combine strategic leadership, creative solutions and excellent customer relationship skills to make a positive contribution to the reputation and performance of the business.
**Duties of **Facilities Senior Operations Manager** will include but won't be limited to**:
- Attend regional meetings with Prison Group Directors, Prison Governors and other key stakeholders as required.
- Lead by example and actively engage with employees to ensure that they understand how the business is developing and the roles that they must take to support change, whilst striving to continuously improve their performance.
- Facilitate visits to client sites with senior MoJ stakeholders such as the prisons minister to showcase best practice
- Liaise with HMPPS Central comms team to 'place' case studies on the HMPPS staff intranet
- Contribute articles and case studies to client’s monthly staff bulletin
- Act as a specialist advisor to client Site and Cluster Managers, and Regional Account Directors in support of developing site-based delivery plans.
- Support and advise HMPPS Governors and Prison Director Group (PDG's) in delivering local day to day, and major project CRED programmes.
- Monitor, analyse and evaluate the performance of the CRED programme to enable establishments to realise their potential, advising the CEO, the Director Operations, Prison Group Directors and Governors where action is required.
- Identifying options and solutions to ensure the rehabilitation agenda is driven forward and continues to deliver greater levels of cohesion with the prison rehabilitation service. Decision making is almost always autonomous once board approval has beengranted for the project or direction.
- Solutions are to be proactively agreed with the senior operations team in client and Senior Prison rehabilitation teams for agreement in order to ensure challenging targets and deadlines are met.
**Essential Skills and Experience**:
- The role requires high levels of theoretical, operational and procedural experience and skills from working in the hard and soft FM services.
- Certificate of Higher Education, Key Skills level 4, NVQ level 4, BTEC professional award, HNC, or equivalent experience where appropriate.
Due to the nature of the environment, you will be asked to complete the standard Security Vetting for the establishments.
