We are currently looking to recruit across a diverse range of temporary administrative, customer service, and specialist roles across various locations in West Sussex, including Chichester, Crawley, and Horsham. These roles span across different functions, requiring skills in office administration, customer service, payroll, pensions, and data management.

Here is a list of the current roles we are looking to recruit, however this changes daily:

- Business Services Administrators - Crawley / Horsham / Chichester / Worthing
- Payroll Officer - Fire Service Pension Project - Chichester
- HR and Payroll Administrator - Fire Service Pension Project - Chichester
- Team Manager - Administrative Services, Chichester
- Payroll Officer - Chichester
- Administration Support Officer - Crawley

**General Responsibilities (specific responsibilities will vary depending on the exact role)**:

- Providing administrative support: This could include handling correspondences, creating and updating records, scheduling appointments, organising meetings, and managing databases.
- Handling payroll and pensions processing: This involves calculating and processing payroll-related information, managing changes to contracts, and setting up details for new starters.
- Assisting in data management: This can include data entry, data verification, data cleaning, and quality assurance tasks.
- Utilising office software: Tasks may involve creating Word documents, performing tasks in Excel, and potentially using a Microfiche system and an SAP system for data retrieval and management.
- Supporting project work: Some roles involve supporting specific projects, such as the smarter working project involving the decommissioning of The Grange.
- Coordinating and liaising with various departments and teams: This includes working across multiple teams, assisting team leaders in managing work demands, and ensuring smooth communication and collaboration.
- Providing frontline support: Certain roles involve direct interaction and support for specific communities, such as Afghan residents in bridging accommodation.
- Upholding standards and procedures: All roles involve following set instructions and adhering to defined procedures, along with maintaining high levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Undertaking office-based or hybrid working arrangements: This involves working from office spaces in Chichester, Crawley, or Horsham, or from home, depending on the specific role.
- Ensuring timely completion of tasks: This involves meeting deadlines, balancing priorities, and demonstrating flexibility as work demands change.
- Performing specialised tasks: Some roles may have additional tasks specific to the role, such as note-taking, event coordination, reception duties, or other duties as assigned.

**General Requirements**:

- Demonstrable office experience using administrative systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to interpret complex information and produce high-quality documents
- Ability to work on own initiative, organising work appropriately and responding to changing priorities to meet deadlines

The pay rate for most positions range from £11.90 to £17 per hour Umbrella depending on the position.

These are temporary roles with different end dates, but there may be opportunities for extension or permanent employment.
