This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Assistant Analyst to join a reputable company on a temporary basis in Oxford.

**Client Details**

The client specialises in landscape and urban planning and design.

**Description**

The Temporary Assistant Analyst will be responsible for:

- Running and analysing reports
- Transferring these reports into various graphical forms
- Aiding with project work
- Processing accounts and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures
- Performing day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting and recording accounts receivables data
- Preparing bills, invoices and bank deposits
- Generating financial statements and reports detailing accounts receivable status
- Fee forecast spreadsheet updating and maintenance
- Coordination of sub-consultant invoicing, liaising with clients & project managers internally and reconciliation of costs
- Financial reconciliations for Project Managers
- Any other ad hoc tasks as directed by the Financial Controller or Finance Director

**Profile**

The Temporary Assistant Analyst will be:

- Experienced in AR
- Experience in analytic roles
- Able to work in a varied role
- Experience in using a variety of systems
- Confident self-starter

The Temporary Assistant Analyst will have:

- Strong IT understanding of financial systems
- Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Excel - ideally, including pivot tables, V-Look-ups, charts, formulae
- Some VAT knowledge is required for sales invoicing and processing of purchase invoices

Essential skills and experience:

- Previous experience in a similar finance role
- Commercial awareness and excellent analytic and problem-solving skills
- Ability to establish good working relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
- Ability to operate successfully as part of a small finance team, especially when communicating with members of other teams and offices
