**Temporary Assistant AccountantResponsibilities**

Duties will include but are not limited to:

- To assist with the budgeting process - planning; implementing; facilitating the involvement of others; compiling the annual budget, along with cash flow and any other relevant notes and documents as required
- Processing, authorising, and paying invoices. Liaising with other departments to resolve invoice queries
- Assisting with the preparation of the year-end accounts, the annual audit and the production of the statutory accounts
- Assisting in the implementation and development of accounting software to improve financial reporting
- Providing miscellaneous administrative support as required

**Temporary Assistant AccountantExperience**
- AAT qualified or equivalent experience
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Knowledge of / experience of Budget Management and Year-end Accounts
- Salesforce Database experience
- Enthusiastic with a ‘can-do’ attitude
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain financials to non-financial staff
- A self-motivated and organised individual with excellent attention to detail

**Location**

Our client is located in Oxford (OX1).Unfortunately, there is no parking available on-site, although the office is accessible via public transport.
