How will you make a difference?
Reporting to your manager, you will oversee and manage the company’s fleet of vehicles, which will include scheduled vehicle maintenance, the checking in and checking out of cars, and ensuring all documentation is correct and up to date. You will exclusively manage the tracking devices, ensuring all our vehicles are fitted with a tracking device and ensuring accurate recordings of the data. You will also look after the repair of damage to the fleet of vehicles, and you will be responsible for sourcing licensed vehicles along with licensing vehicles for taxi claims.
What will you be accountable for?
- Process penalty charge notices
- Review outstanding penalty charge notices
- Updating the Insurance database (MID)
- Processing company cars and maintenance
- Process vehicle tax and fleet maintenance
- Uploading vehicle details to database
- Allocating new vehicles to correct locations depending on requirements
- Declaring Lease vehicles end of life
- Audit and organise V5’s
- Updating service/mot/tax on system
- Liaise with Councils to get taxi license requirements
- Licensing vehicle with councils for taxi claims
- Exceptional customer service
- Understand Taxi groups via GTA
- Understanding client’s specific needs
- Gaining a good knowledge of the taxi fleet
- Maintaining the fleet of vehicles
- Managing damage on vehicles from hire periods
- Processing Insurance claims on our own vehicles
- Reviewing pending claims to ensure Insurance complaints
