Family Finding Officer

**Job Summary**
You will work closely with foster families and social workers to seek families for children referred, supporting a successful effective transition. You will ensure there are clear agreements between all parties and clarity about the CFC Service offer and partner expectations. You will monitor the achievement of these and report on this. Alongside this, you will monitor on behalf of CFC to ensure that we are compliant for children in our care in terms of fostering regulations, GDPR and H&S to assure a safe service and positive outcomes for the child.
**Main duties and responsibilities**
- To run the organisation’s matching and referral management process.
- Establish links with Local Authority (LA) commissioning teams to enable effective and regular communication, to actively promote CFC’s carers and respond swiftly to potential matches.
- Work closely with the social work team, Team Managers (TM) and Registered Manager (RM) to enable CFC to provide more homes to children.
- Build relationships with foster carers throughout the organisation to support good communication and understand their skills and matching criteria.
- Ensure correct paperwork for all matches are on file
- To oversee support packages, ensuring all aspects are delivered in conjunction with Team Managers (monitoring the delivery of all the commissioned elements).
- Keep up to date records of all arrangements and support services.
- Provide monitoring to highlight any areas of over/under delivery of packages.
- Work with Senior Leadership Team to develop this process and ensure the organisation is best placed to make quality expressions of interest.
- Support with the administration of placement planning meetings.
- To lead on implementation and on-going oversight of the ‘new placement’ process
- To lead on implementation and on-going oversight of the ‘end of placement’ process.
- Develop a knowledge of the organisations pricing structures and work in conjunction with the Business Development Manager to cost support work and fostering arrangements.

It is the nature of work of Community Foster Care, that tasks and responsibilities are unpredictable and varied. All staff are therefore expected to work in a flexible way when the occasion arises where tasks are not specifically covered in the Job Description and have to be undertaken.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Pay: £28,164.00-£33,099.00 per year
