We are currently looking for a **Payroll & HR Coordinator** to join us at our M&S ambient food operation at Milton Keynes. Here you will be responsible for supporting the delivery of a first-class on-site people service with administrative responsibility for payroll, HR and engagement.
This is a fixed term contract for 12 months, with potential to extend. You can choose a set shift pattern of Sunday to Thursday or Monday to Friday. The hours of work are also negotiable, you can work 08:00 - 16:00, 08:30 - 16:30 or 09:00 - 17:00. You choose
**Pay, benefits and more**:
You’ll be paid a salary of up to £28,128 per annum. **What you’ll do on a typical day**:
- Coordinate all aspects of the monthly and weekly payroll activities within T&A, including additional hours, sickness, absence and holiday
- Co-ordinate T&A checking processes, ensuring any pay queries or issues are dealt with / escalated promptly
- Create and issue contracts of employment and new starter packs for operational employees, setting up files and updating systems and spreadsheets
- Support the HR Advisor on the management of absence, making recommendations and giving advice and support to managers
**What you need to succeed at GXO**:
- Experience in a fast-paced payroll environment, using T&A systems
- An ability to perform well under pressure and meet strict deadlines whilst maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
- A collaborative and friendly approach supported by excellent communication skills
- Flexible approach to work - to get involved in varied tasks across Payroll & HR
