Pertemps have a fantastic opportunity for a Fleet Administrator to work on a full time, 6-month contract to cover a maternity leave with our client based in Doncaster.
**Role**:

- To support on an administrative basis all aspects of the fleet department.
- Working closely with planners and engineers in relation to ensuring vehicles are maintained yet minimising down of vehicles and engineers.
- You will be working in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail is of paramount importance, a logical and can-do attitude is a must.
- To work as part of a team to ensure that SMS Plc has a fully compliant fleet and at the same time helping our drivers to stay safe.
- Opportunities are available to learn and develop Fleet skills with continuing education.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Logging calls for the fleet department ensuring all details are recorded and passed on to the relevant person within the department.
- Logging calls from engineers and logging any vehicle related matters on the fleet management system, and/or where necessary escalating to the Fleet manager.
- Assisting the Fleet Compliance desk to complete driving license checks and processing fines and notices of intended prosecution.
- Assisting with logging road traffic accidents on portals and with insurers.

**Assisting the vehicle Maintenance desk daily to manage**:

- Services due
- MOT’S due
- Road tax
- Ensure any replacement vehicles/off hires are added/ removed from the MID
- Managing fuel cards
- Assisting engineers to park vehicles via parking platforms
- Adding vehicles Congestion zones and various toll/tunnels
- Raising purchase orders and reconciling invoices at month end.
- Various ad hoc duties that assist in the smooth operation of the fleet department.
- To approach the business with an attitude of continuous improvement, in both self and company performance, taking initiatives and researching opportunities for improvement, without the need for prompting.
- To actively participate in weekly meetings to look at ways of developing the Fleet department, improving processes, and addressing any issues which arise during the working week.
- Ensure a full handover of any outstanding issues prior to going on annual leave.

**Educational Qualifications/Memberships**:

- GCSE equivalent to A-C
- NVQ in Business and Administration
- ICFM (Institute of Car/Van Fleet Management introductory course) desirable
- IT skills to include Microsoft and Outlook
- Competent excel skills to include vLook ups, conditional formatting

**Skills and Knowledge**:

- Experience in service/maintenance/repair in the motor trade industry
- Experience in operations/logistics desirable
- Delivering excellent customer service
- Attention to detail
- Manage Costs
- Time Management skills essential
- Experience of Logistics Van excellence or FORS accreditation

**Salary**
£20'300 based on 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
