We are currently recruiting for a Head of Operations to be based in our Head Office in Southampton. The Head of Operations will be responsible for managing the Operations team and strategy delivery across the AVASK Group. It is vital to be well versed in all activities of the business and possess good commercial acumen and excellent communication and people management skills.

The Operations Department goal is to deliver improvements in business efficiency and quality of client service delivery for sustainable development and long term success. This newly created position has a wide remit and would take responsibility for a range of operational responsibilities within our growing business.

**Key responsibilities**:
**Group alignment**
- The Head of Operations will provide effective communications and management with each of the Group offices ensuring they are aligned, following the AVASK policies and procedures and delivering the required performance.
- Work with Service Partners to ensure the required service levels are met.

**Quality management**
- The Head of Operations will assist in cross functional process analysis and development of effective ISO 9001 procedures. Ensure appropriate controls are in place, design out risk of error and ensure procedures are fully implemented.
- Ensure non-conformance, risk and opportunity feedback is captured and logged with the Quality Management Officer to drive continuous improvement. Ensure issues are fully investigated, prioritised and collaborate to find solutions with the respective stakeholders.
- Contribute to risk management and in ensuring agreed controls are effectively implemented.
- Contribute to the on-going programme of improvements in software systems to deliver business efficiencies and improved customer experience.

**Change management**
- The Head of Operations will plan and successfully deliver change management projects.

**Information Security**
- The Head of Operations will be aware of information security procedures and controls and assist in ensuring they are fully implemented with all personnel to the ISO 27001 standard.
- Be a member of the Security Team to monitor on-going information security issues across the Group. - Monitor the compliance to GDPR.

**Essential skills, knowledge and experience**:

- Educated to Degree Level - BSc/BA in Business Management or relevant field;
- Accounting/Finance knowledge and appreciation
- Proven experience as business manager or relevant role
- Understanding of quality management, ISO 9001
- Excellent organisational, leadership and collaborative skills
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
- Solid understanding of the relationship of internal controls and business processes
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office, databases and information systems
- Experienced at implementing change to maximise efficiency in processes, results, and team structure
- Empathy and confidence to manage client stakeholders across all hierarchy levels

This role could also be know as: Group Operations Manager or Business Manager.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From £40,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
