An exciting opportunity has arisen for a **Head of Infrastructure & Operations** to join a high profile company in the Southampton area at exciting times as they continue to grow.
With technology at the heart of everything they do as a business we are looking for someone to manage teams, across Service Desk, Datacentre, Infrastructure and SRE
The role of **Head of Infrastructure & Operations** will include;
- Line management of department heads for a 30 person team across infrastructure and operations.
- Responsible for standardising the creation of new environments and scaling existing environments on demand.
- Own the governance and performance of IT systems and processes.
- Ensure the activities of the Platform Engineering functions meet the needs of the business
- Work closely with the CTO providing leadership and strategic oversight
- Ensure smooth running, availability and scalability of the business systems
This **Head of Infrastructure & Operations** role would suit someone with previous experience in a management role responsible for IT Infrastructure and operations.
While this is not a hands-on role you will have an excellent technical knowledge of cloud based / Infrastructure as code environments.
This **Head of Infrastructure & Operations **role is** **paying is paying £80,000 - £100,000 depending on experience and comes with a wide range of benefits including an annual bonus of up to 25%.
