We have an exciting opportunity for a talented and passionate Academy Trainer who is knowledgeable and professional in health and fitness and able to represent Third Space by offering advice and tailored induction and training plans to our members.

This role is not for the shy or fainthearted as you will be expected to confidently offer professional advice to club members and, in doing so, build up strong rapports.

As an Academy Trainer must possess excellent interaction and communication skills, be able to manage difficult conversations and take care of any negative feedback by proactively addressing this with the customer to ensure a satisfactory outcome is reached.

Please note that this is an Academy Trainer role only and does not include any aspect of Personal Training; however, if you so wish, you will have the opportunity to enrol onto our Academy Trainer career path where you will be assessed by a number of differing criteria, such as the training inductions and interactions you achieve and, if successful, you can move up the ranks from Tier 1 to Tier2 to then becoming a Personal Trainer.
**Core Skills Requirements Summary**
- Well presented with good written and spoken English
- Strong communication skills and have a natural flair for going above and beyond the expectations of our members
- Serve as a customer service liaison between members and management
- Self-driven with a positive attitude and a clear focus on providing a first class member experience
- Knowledge of social media platforms and the fitness industry influences
- Provide cover for the fitness reception and Member Concierge when required
- First Aid knowledge
- Assist with emergency shift cover where required
- Able to work weekends and Bank Holidays
**Essential Qualifications**:

- Valid Level 3 Fitness qualification/ or a degree in Sport & Exercise (or a nationally accredited equivalent)
