**ADMINISTRATOR - TECHNICAL SERVICES | £12.70 per hour**
We are looking for an enthusiastic Technical Services Administrator to join our Technical Services team.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required as the role involves direct contact with the wider team and external contractors. Strong organisation and planning skills are also required, along with good attention to detail, as you will be the collator and custodian of the department statutory and mandatory compliance records.
Other responsibilities will include supporting managers with a range of general admin duties, including answering the telephone, writing meeting notes and raising electronic purchase orders. Excellent computer skills will be required including a good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
**HOURS OF WORK**
You will be contracted to work 96 hours per 4-week period on a flexible basis. This means that your days and hours of work could vary each week, but you will always receive at least your contracted hours each period.
As our village is open 365 days of the year, your working hours will include public / bank holidays and during Christmas and / or New Year on a rota basis.
**ABOUT YOU**
**Essential requirements**:
- A good level of computer literacy in MS Office packages, in particular the manipulation of data and generation of reports
- Experience working in a technical environment and having direct contact with technical staff and contractors
- Excellent organisational skills
- Ability to prioritise a busy workload and work on own initiative
- Excellent communication skills - verbal and written
**Desirable requirements**:
- A Health & Safety qualification and background
- Experience working in budget administration
- Experience in using an electronic procurement programme
