Consultant in Paediatric Oncology

This post will join the existing team of 5.9 WTE NHS consultant oncologists, 3 academic colleagues (1 Professorial appointments and 2 Associate professors), 1 part-time honorary NHS consultant and a 0.6 WTE Specialty Doctor. The existing Oncology teams provides the full range of tertiary oncology services and have sub-specialty interest in neuro-oncology, general solid tumour oncology, TYA oncology, late-effects and retinoblastoma covering an extensive geographical area. We are a research active department with a large clinical trial portfolio and with strong links with the University of Birmingham and the Birmingham CRUK Clinical Trials Unit, in addition to a varied research portfolio including one of only 3 specialists children's cancer registries in the UK.
