Consultant Paediatric Haematologist The closing date is 15 December 2025 Applications are welcomed from enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join the established, friendly team of Paediatric Haematologists in our purpose‑built haemato‑oncology/SCT unit at Waterfall House, Birmingham Women’s and Children’s Hospital (BWC). One 10 PA post is available. The post holder will provide subspecialty cover for all aspects of Stem Cell Transplant, Gene Therapy for patients with transfusion‑dependent thalassaemia and sickle cell disease, and subspecialty care for patients with haemoglobinopathies. Main duties of the job You will be part of a dedicated medical team comprising 8 consultants (including this post), 10 haematology specialist registrars/clinical fellows and 3 ST2/3s. There are also 6 advanced nurse practitioners in the department. As one of the UK’s largest paediatric haematology departments, we see a broad case mix of malignant and non‑malignant disease and oversee active clinical programmes in haematology, stem cell transplantation, haemoglobinopathy, haemostasis/thrombosis and haematological oncology.
