Head of Clinical Administration Transformation

The post holder will support and lead the development and provision of a clinical admin transformation programme across Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board.
Will provide leadership and day to day operational support to current admin functions to ensure the organisation is able to meet its national commitments, mandatory requirements and undertake a programme of change which will include the digitisation of clinical records wherever possible.
The post holder will provide expert advice on collection/extraction/interpretation & presentation of all types of clinical records, as well as supporting teams to deliver enhanced operational processes and support the digitisation of patient records.
This post is designed to ensure high level transformation support across the UHB as well as support and guidance to numerous staff, including Stakeholders.
They will be responsible for undertaking regular research of Clinical Administration initiatives and develop methodologies and new ways of working to support the delivery of clinical administration functions.
The post holder is responsible for developing and adapting long term strategic plans for CTMUHB that comply with the strategic direction laid out in the IMTP.
The post holder will support the management of the Medical Records team and therefore need to demonstrate significant experience in managing operational teams as well as a proven track record in transforming ways of working.
Develop, lead and manage the digital plan for clinical administration transformation. This will be one of 6 core programmes for the University Health Board of significant size, complexity and risk. They will need to ensure that they produce the required products, to the required standard of quality and within the specified constraints of time and cost.
Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board is ideally situated within a beautiful part of Wales, between Wales’ capital city, Cardiff, to the south, the South Wales coast including Porthcawl and Swansea Bay.
The successful applicant will support and lead the development and provision of a clinical administration transformation programme across Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board (CTMUHB).
They will provide leadership and day to day operational support to current admin functions to ensure the organisation is able to meet its national commitments, mandatory requirements and undertake a programme of change which will include the digitisation of clinical records wherever possible.
They will provide crucial expertise to support the many initiatives underway across the UHB and help inform service development for the benefit of the people of CTM and the wider population that access healthcare services within our area.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
