**Role Overview**:
We are currently looking for a Risk Manager/Lead to join our PMO team based in Falmer, East Sussex on a full time permanent basis (Hybrid Working available).
**Role Accountabilities**:
You will be responsible for the training and advisory on the risk system and risk process, ensuring that all users are appropriately trained and coached. The scope of the role is ensure that all risks are recorded and reported within the Capital Programme withinthe project and tranche level of the risk hierarchy. You will ensure that risk insights are fed back and recorded at the appropriate level via the escalation process.
Overall you will be responsible for embedding risk management capability across the Capital Programme that will assist with strategic decision making.
**Person Specification**:
To be successful in the role you will have practical experience of project risk management, including:
- Demonstrable knowledge in managing the risk associated with capital programmes.
- Having a professional Qualification or being a professional member of the IRM or APM would be advantageous.
- Strong and effective report writing and presentational skills.
- Strong knowledge of risk management within a project controls environment.
- Effective managerial skills to be self-motivated with the ability to prioritise your own workload.
- You will be able to interpret and communicate risk reports, ensuring the most effective communication approach is taken.
- Provide guidance and create risk architecture based on knowledge and experience to deliver strategic programme and project objectives.
