**What we're looking for**
- Lead the programme and projects community to increase risk maturity and maintain compliance by providing a risk management service that meets or exceeds the expectations and requirements of the Executive Leadership Team. (30%)
- Lead and be accountablefor the implementation of effective risk management architecture with appropriate maintenance and review processes. (10%)
- Develop and maintain standard documentation, templates and procedures to facilitate the efficient and transparent management of DeliveryPartner risk information (20%)
- Accountable for ensuring significant risks are escalated to the Executive Leadership Team to ensure the Capital Programme is in line with corporate risk appetite. (10%)
- Lead the assurance and commercial alignment of Portfolioand Programme risk allocation and represent the E&C Director/Head of PMO in senior level discussions. (5%)
- Accountable for the accuracy and timely submissions of risk data / reporting to support appropriate Performance Management. (15%)
- In partnershipwith the other level 3 PMO Function Managers, take ownership and accountability for the overall performance of the PMO department. (5%)
- Ensure analysis is carried out on risk profiles resulting from the monthly updates and make recommendations to reconcileanomalies (5%) Person Specification:
- Expert knowledge and experience in relation to risk management principles and stakeholder engagement associated with capital programmes
- Detailed understanding of the dependencies within programme, governance, commercialand risk management
- Significant experience of working in the field of risk management.
- Experience of strategy development
- Stakeholder management experience
- Experience with working across a complex project delivery cycle
- Excellent interpersonal andteam collaboration skills.
- Proven career track record demonstrating progressing to management level in similar role.
- Effective leadership and management skills to set direction for the business in terms of risk management strategies, prioritises the riskteam's workload and ensures objectives and timescales are met
- Strong and effective presentational skills with the ability to distil and present complex information at executive level to inform business decisions
- Provide direction and guidance to the riskarchitecture based on knowledge and experience in order to deliver the programme and associated business benefits
