Olleco is on a mission to help protect the planet, working together with thousands of foodservice businesses to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by hundreds and thousands of tonnes. We are now looking for a Customer Relations Assistant to join our team and help us to continue to do things the right way for customers, colleagues and the planet.

With over 1,000 colleagues in multiple sites nationwide delivering excellence performance, we supply premium cooking oils, and collect organic waste, which is then converted into bio-methane, electricity, heat and organic fertiliser. We offer the human touch with a local, community based depots which seek to give back to those communities every chance we get.

**This is the role that’s on offer for the right person**:

- Act as an advocate for all customers and promote a customer first culture throughout the independent, Regional and National sector sales teams
- Ensure that our customers are at the centre of everything we do and build an understanding of our customers and how the way we interact with them affects them
- Ensure that customer service and communication objectives are met, delivering excellent customer experience and building customer loyalty in support of profitable sales growth
- Support the Customer Relations Manager with the overall management of reporting, analysis and summaries, including identifying trends in and outside the organisation

**A little bit more about the role**:

- Ensure that the sales team perform all duties in a safe manner and that any incidents are logged in line with company procedures
- Assist in the training of the Customer Service team through guidance and support
- Ensure customer complaints and issues are resolved effectively and quickly
- Conduct analyses of customer complaint root causes
- Design and implement robust processes to review and evaluate our relationships with customers
- Establish metrics that monitor trends in customer communications, analyse results and identify areas for improvement

**We will be looking for**:

- Experience in planning and implementing sales strategies
- Experience in customer service or customer relations role
- Proven sales skills and ability to work within a target driven environment
- An understanding and/or experience of catering and hospitality, food service distribution, waste collection or other related industry
- Knowledge of customer service best practices and trends
- A strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to use computer systems, Excel and PowerPoint
