We are looking to recruit an Accounts Assistant / Outsourcing Executive within our Business Services team at our Rugby office.

The successful applicant will provide bookkeeping and accounts preparation services to a range of clients with varied requirements in an expanding Business Services department.

We offer a full bookkeeping service on a weekly / monthly / quarterly basis including:

- Taking client source documents and posting to an accounting package
- Posting and balancing banks
- Posting payroll journals
- Posting depreciation journals
- Preparing and filing of VAT returns
- Preparing management accounts

Certain clients do core bookkeeping themselves and we review postings and prepare and file VAT returns and prepare management accounts as required.

**Attributes we look for**
- Reliable and organised
- Attention to detail
- Competent in Word and Excel
- Knowledge of VAT
- Knowledge of SAGE (preferable but not essential)
- Knowledge of Xero
- Good communication skills as there will be ongoing client contact
