**Assistant Management Accountant - Permanent**
An exciting opportunity has arisen for someone keen to progress and develop in a successful Company that provides excellent training and full exposure to the P&Ls that report the various operations of this business.

As the Assistant Management Accountant, you will be working as part of a large finance and accounts team and based in Rugby, and you will report to the Senior Management Accountant. You will also have responsibility for several high-profile analyses, aswell as the weekly and monthly reporting tasks. The role will provide exposure to the senior site team, customers and various other stakeholders within the Company and comes with all the benefits of working as part of a larger Group.

**Duties of the Assistant Management Accountant**:

- Weekly production of costings for several P&Ls
- Submit weekly costings and KPI information to relevant personnel
- Produce monthly management accounts
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Investigate and explain variances in the management accounts
- Produce monthly review pack of financial management information for discussion with customers at review meetings
- Produce annual budgets and periodic forecasts with support of line manager
- Invoice and credit control customers and update Company cash forecast
- Numerous ad-hoc reports and project tasks as required

**To be considered for the Assistant Management Accountant role**:

- Be studying towards ACCA/CIMA qualification
- Advanced Excel skills
- Proven attention to detail
- Analytical
- Clear and succinct communicator
- Experienced in accounts preparation, including journals, accruals, prepayments, depreciation, and income deferral.
- Ability to communicate financial information to non-finance colleagues
