We are looking for 2 Warehouse Administrators to be warehouse based at our Marston Gate site (MK43 0YL). The successful post holders will be expected to prepare import/export paperwork, assist with stock integrity within the contract and ensure all stocks are accounted for and KPIs are met. Therefore, as a Warehouse Administrator, you will need to have strong analytical skills and demonstrate strong administration experience of working within a busy environment. You will be expected to establish a first-class service to the customer and Yusen Logistics (UK) Ltd within the economic constraints whilst maintaining good customer communications. Main Responsibilities: Initiate good working practices by carrying out all contract administration tasks in a timely and accurate manner, complying with all Yusen/Customer procedures and timescales Update and maintain the accuracy of the Warehouse Management System to achieve accurate and effective reporting Highlighting all concerns to contract management and/or Customer as necessary, escalating as and when appropriate Communicating effectively with internal and external customers building strong, long term relationships Ensuring all stock discrepancies are investigated and reconciled in accordance with established procedures, highlighting any areas of concern in a timely manner Ensuring that all queries are dealt with in an efficient accurate and timely manner, liaising with contract management as necessary Assist/prepare timely and accurate reports for management and customer as required Assisting with cycle counting and formal stock takes in accordance with procedures Identifying and recommending appropriate resolutions to customer queries or failures Ensuring reports are completed accurately and meeting all deadlines Continuously look to improve processes and procedures to drive efficiency and improvement in business operation and customer service Identify and implement Kaizens, 5s principles and any other continuous improvement initiatives Maintain H&S in the workplace; PPE, and attend all relevant safety briefings and campaigns Performing admin tasks in accordance with warehouse operations What we need from you: Experience of import/export documentation would be advantageous Awareness of KAIZEN principles Knowledge / operational experience of warehouse management systems Being able to adapt to new systems and procedures Inventory/stock control experience Adaptable with a "can do" attitude Resilient and flexible, with the ability to create a positive dynamic out of uncertainty Passionate about query resolution and offering a high level of customer service High Organisational capabilities, time management and working to deadlines Participate in continuous improvement processes What we will offer you: 25 days holiday (excluding bank holidays) Company Pension Scheme Employee benefits i.e. Discount schemes including E-vouchers and gift cards, gym membership as well as a recognition platform Critical Illness Cover Tailored development and career opportunities Company sick pay* Employee Wellness initiatives - WeCare - includes 24/7 online GP, mental health support service, get fit programme and more We thank all applicants for their interest, however, only those under consideration will be contacted.
