We’re currently looking for a Warehouse Team Leader to join our operation at our H&M site in Marston Gate - Bedford. You’ll be working Monday to Friday on the afternoon shift 13:45 - 21:45.
In this role you will support the operation leading a team of warehouse operatives and warehouse administrators as well as coordinating activities to achieve business goals.
**Pay, benefits and more**:
We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £26,500 per annum. In addition, we offer 33 days holiday (including bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. **What you’ll do on a typical day**:
- Achieve and exceed KPI’s
- You’ll be responsible for the physical appearance and safety of the working environment
- Review and improve the operating environment through establishing and maintaining housekeeping standards
- Manage the allocation of work on a daily basis, controlling headcount and overtime budgets and ensuring cost, quality and delivery targets are met
**What you need to succeed at GXO**
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Experience of working in a complex, fast moving environment
- Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- You must be reliable, honest and committed
