Transport Compliance Officer

Duties & Responsibilities
- Be responsible for delivery of all aspects of the Group’s Compliance Division
- Organise and delegate workload
- Ensure customers & client job requests are delivered on time and to the quality required
- Ensure data protection and clients confidential information is correctly managed
- Drive sales and services to existing and new clients/customers
- Make onsite visits to operator premises and conduct compliance assessments & audits on a weekly, monthly and yearly basis. Ensure detailed reports are developed and submitted within the tight timelines given.
- Grow and develop your client management base
- Provide assistance and support to all clients regarding the protection of their Operators Licence, Health & Safety and staff compliance.
- Manage the prioritisation of prosecution work received from clients, solicitors, barristers and enforcement agencies to ensure the appropriate support is delivered to the job in a timely manner
- Participate in all work from each division when required
- Attend In-chambers hearings, Public Inquiries and Official Interviews when required
- Conduct internal client investigations and disciplinary proceedings
- Work in conjunction with our Tachograph Analysis division team & liaise with support & technical staff to ensure targets are achieved, high quality is delivered and monitor continuous KPI’s
- Micro manage DVA, DVSA, RSA & Operator Compliance Audit cases ensuring that the appropriate staff are detailed to the job, ensure targets are achieved, high quality is delivered and KPI’s are met
- Provide support when needed for our onsite & remote support services including Vehicle Examination, Fleet Inspection, Yard Check Points and Training to ensure targets are achieved, high quality is delivered and monitor continuous KPI’s
- Work to all company set budgets
- Report back to Senior Management & Company Board of Directors with detailed reports, action plans and areas of improvement
- Ensure H&S is enforced internally and overall protection to TCTS Group Ltd
- Maximise attendance at training courses and sales of the Groups range of services.
- Organise and grow our third party agents and training providers as required
- Manage and secure current and new tenders & contracts
- Consultation visits with clients
- Promote other TCTS Group services when meeting clients
- Assist other staff with onsite audits and compliance checks
Education & Experience Requirements
- Good level of education to include GCSE Grade C in English and Maths or equivalent
- Have a Transport, Investigation, Management, Audit, Law enforcement or technical qualification at a minimum of Level 5 & background in same.
- Transportation / Logistic / Legal qualification such as OCR International Transport Management - Certificate in Investigative Practice
- Proven Experience in a Transport, Investigation, Enforcement or Audit discipline
- Hold the relevant qualifications to enable delivery of services to high level clients
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
- Excellent IT skills include use of Microsoft Office, Excel, Access Word, Planner and PowerPoint
- Attention to detail
- Full clean licence
- Access to own means of transport (a company vehicle may be provided depending on post)

Working from home may be a necessity dependant on Company needs.
Flexible working hours / working from home and weekend work is required for this post.
