Transport Planner

**Transport Planner - Vistatherm**
**Working Hours**:

- Monday - Thursday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Friday: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

**About the Role**:
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Transport Planner to join our team. This role plays a key part in ensuring the smooth and efficient coordination of our transport operations, maintaining high standards of service and compliance.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Support the documentation processes for shipments, ensuring accuracy and timely completion
- Produce and maintain delivery reports
- Plan loads effectively and coordinate with the sales team to meet delivery requirements
- Liaise closely with the Despatch Manager regarding daily load plans
- Maintain and update the R Batch File to track shipment activities
- Communicate with drivers and customers to ensure timely deliveries and handle service issues as they arise
- Monitor and track deliveries from our Nenagh and Chester locations
- Perform load costings and maintain accurate records
- Book delivery slots at customer sites in advance to ensure smooth logistics
- Ensure compliance with relevant transport regulations and safety standards
- Address and resolve any transport-related issues, such as vehicle breakdowns or delivery delays

**Skills & Requirements**:

- Previous experience in transport planning or logistics coordination preferred
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel) and transport management systems
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
