**About the Opportunity**

Jacobs is committed to playing a leadership role in Global Energy Transition. Our UK and Continental Europe team is growing and we’re looking for a Senior Energy Consultant to help provide support to projects across Jacobs’ markets. Our Power and Energy team provides a range of consulting services within energy systems technology. As part of our team, you will be leading on a range of services within renewable and low carbon generation storage technologies and future energy systems. Your role will be to lead a team who will aim to analyse technical properties within energy and how it will impact economically and environmentally.

Work-life balance and flexibility is a key focus area for Jacobs. Our core Energy and Power team is based across Jacobs’ offices in London, Birmingham, Reading, Bristol, Cardiff, Glasgow or Exeter. However, with offices throughout the UK, we can be flexible about location and are happy to discuss hybrid, part-time and flexible working hours to suit you and our business.

**Here’s What You’ll Need**: The role of Senior Energy Consultant will require you to have**:

- Understanding of public, industrial and commercial energy usage, energy savings, utility plant development and emission reductions
- An engineering degree, likely to have a focus on energy (Chemical / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering, or equivalent process-related degree)
- Data validation and analysis skills with the ability to identify, develop and implement business improvement solutions
- Strong project management skills, including ability to develop clear work programmes and communicate requirements to other team members
