Service Desk Lead (Cardiff)

Salary up to £40,000

Due to a promotion, my client is looking for a Service Desk Lead working as part of a small IT team, you will be leading the Service Desk team to ensure the Service Desk runs efficiently and to SLA's. You will need to set objectives and run monthly appraisalsto ensure the team are aligned to the business objectives and values. You will need to develop, implement, and review workflows, processes, and documentation to ensure best practice and continuous improvement is ingrained into the team.

Additionally, providing escalation support for the Service Desk team, ensuring a professional conclusion to their issue is provided. You will supplement the technical knowledge within the team and take ownership of certain projects and tasks to completion.

What you will bring

Experience of working as part of a small but busy IT team in a growing company.

Experience in administrating a Windows based devices.

Proven logical trouble shooting and problem-solving skills.

Strong 2nd line knowledge and experience

Lead, mentor, and coach members of the Service Desk

Develop, implement, and review workflow processes and documentation
