**Head of Purchasing**

A Sunday Times top 100 fastest growing e-commerce business is looking for a commercially driven Head of Purchasing to manage their purchasing function. You will be responsible for the whole buying process from new and existing suppliers across the UK, Europe, and Far East.

As the Head of Purchasing, the company need you to be very commercially driven, not just in the sense of driving down costs through negotiating with suppliers, but also spotting areas/markets the company can tap into and increase their revenue.

You will work with the business to deliver a robust sales forecast and ensure that you are able to deliver on this by having the right products in place to satisfy demand.

As the Head of Purchasing, you will manage a team of 3 within the purchasing team ranging from Junior Buyer to Buying Manager. The team are doing a great job but require further mentoring, training, and development to increase their output further.

Ultimately you will deliver an efficient, robust purchasing strategy and allow the business to continue to grow.

To be successful as the Head of Purchasing you will need to be CIPS qualified. You will also need to be data driven whilst being entrepreneurial in your approach and can sniff out a deal.

The company will pay a salary of around 70k, being a new business, the benefits package is not industry leading it is solid and offers a bonus.
