What truly stands out is their **brilliant sense of humour** and **love for life**. They enjoy activities such as **swimming, trampolining, shopping, fun fairs**, and **visiting churches**. To help them get the most out of every day, we're looking for someone who is **local to the area**, familiar with local amenities, and who holds a **full UK driving licence**. **About You** We're seeking someone who is not only compassionate and dependable but who also brings experience in: - Supporting individuals with **autism** and **complex needs**: - Managing **epilepsy** and understanding associated health needs - Responding to **behaviours that challenge** with confidence and empathy - Promoting **mental health and emotional wellbeing** You'll need to be calm, adaptable, and emotionally resilient—someone who listens, understands, and can build a genuine connection. This is a fantastic opportunity to support a truly unique individual in a complex care setting. The role involves 12-hour day shifts. We're looking for someone who is upbeat, proactive, and full of positive energy. This is a rewarding role that calls for a special kind of person - someone who brings both compassion and resilience to every shift. **What the Role Involves** Working on a **2:1 basis**, you'll deliver high-quality, person-centred care in a home and community setting. Your responsibilities will include: - Supporting with meaningful daily routines and community outings - Encouraging social interaction and emotional wellbeing - Assisting with personal care and promoting independence - Ensuring a clean, calm and safe home environment - Communicating clearly and respectfully in the individual's preferred style - Collaborating with the wider team and family to ensure consistent, responsive care **About Acuity Care Group** With nearly 20 years' experience and over 900 staff across the UK, **Acuity Care Group** is a leading provider of complex care.
