Demand Planning Coordinator

**Position Summary**

As a Demand Planning Coordinator, your primary responsibility is to drive the achievement of business objectives through accurate and efficient demand forecasting. Success in this role is measured by key performance metrics, including forecast accuracy, schedule attainment, and inventory optimisation. You will collaborate with sales, warehousing, and purchasing teams to align production strategies with customer demand and ensure optimal inventory levels are maintained.

**Key Performance Responsibilities**:

- Maintain and update monthly product forecasts for assigned product groups. Use system tools, statistical models, and input from Sales and Amazon teams to achieve an established forecast accuracy target.
- Ensure the demand forecast for new product introductions is delivered to purchasing within the specified timeline.
- Regularly review forecast accuracy and variances and communicate findings to key stakeholders. Success is defined by continuous improvement in forecast accuracy rates.
- Organise and lead regular forecast review meetings with Sales and Amazon teams, driving alignment on forecast adjustments and implementing consensus-driven strategies to improve accuracy.
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of demand planning system data, including reviewing system-generated action messages. Performance is evaluated based on maintaining a high level of data accuracy.
- Proactively remove demand planning data for discontinued product lines within established timelines, ensuring smooth transition and minimising obsolete inventory.
- Develop and maintain product groupings to prioritise forecasting reviews and define review frequencies. Performance is measured by effective prioritisation that enhances demand planning efficiency.
- Achieve proficiency in managing demand planning processes across both Amazon and non-Amazon areas of the business. Success is defined by the ability to step into either area when needed without disruption to business operations.
- Proactively contribute to process improvements and complete other assigned tasks to support business continuity.

**Requirements / Preferences**
- Highly proficient in MS Excel
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Experience with ERP inventory Systems
- Analytical ability to interpret and compile data from multiple sources.
- Ability to work alone or as part of a team.
- Advanced understanding of forecasting or demand planning with a rolling forecast
- Process Improvement skills.
