Based in Hove

Reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager and working very closely with other members of the events team, the Marketing Executive will support the Senior Marketing Manager in implementing the marketing plan for the events they are responsible for;
**Role and Responsibilities**:

- Maintain and regularly update the individual show websites via WordPress;
- Day to day social media management including scheduling of posts across multiple brands on LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram, via a Social Media Management Platform;
- Social community engagement across LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook and Instagram;
- Regular monitoring of social trends and ability to enhance the marketing processes through the platforms in use;
- Liaising with conference speakers, exhibitors, visitors and media;
- Reporting via Google Analytics on trends for outreach improvements when required;
- Development and curation of content for event promotion;
- Market research to inform key decisions relating to partnerships, visitor acquisition and exhibition sales;
- Geographical outreach to local press to ensure our events are known about in the local area.

**Person Specification**:

- You will be a proactive, organised person and have excellent attention to detail;
- Works well both in a team and individually;
- Ability to take delegation, meet deadlines and keep calm under pressure;
- Previous experience in a marketing role is required (ideally 2 years);
- Previous experience in an event marketing environment is desirable;
- Experience with Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint, Word required;
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills are essential;
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and alongside other team members;
- Passion for marketing, social media and networking.

Pay: £25,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

**Education**:

- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Marketing: 1 year (required)
