**Casework Coordinator**

**Location: Leeds - hybrid working with a minimum of three days per week based in our city-centre office**

**Salary £27,423 to £28,826 per annum**

**Hours: 35 per week**

This role offers the opportunity to support asylum seekers and vulnerable migrants facing crisis across Leeds and the wider Yorkshire region. As a **Casework Coordinator**, you’ll deliver trauma-informed, person-centred support through both in-person and remote channels. You’ll provide specialist advice on housing, asylum support and legal access, while working closely with external partners to ensure holistic care. The role involves coordinating emergency provisions, managing volunteers, and contributing to service development. You’ll be part of a compassionate and inclusive team committed to reducing destitution, challenging stigma, and empowering people to make informed decisions about their future. **What will a day in the life of a Casework Coordinator involve? You'll be**:

- Supporting people in crisis with tailored advice and practical help.
- Working with volunteers to deliver compassionate and effective services.
- Building strong links with local organisations to improve access to support.
- Responding quickly to risks and safeguarding concerns.
- Keeping clear records and sharing insights to improve services.
- Helping shape inclusive services through feedback and collaboration.

**What do you need to be a successful Casework Coordinator?**
- Experience supporting vulnerable people through complex casework.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing demands.
- Excellent communication skills, including adapting to different audiences.
- Understanding of issues affecting refugees, asylum seekers and migrants.
- Confidence using IT systems including databases and spreadsheets.- A commitment to inclusive, ethical and anti-discriminatory practice.
