**QA Tester - Inside IR35**

**Location**:Hybrid - Manchester, Newcastle or Blackpool 2 days per week

We’re looking for an outstanding QA Tester, who can contribute to demanding and exciting digital services for the UK Government. Be part of changing the face of public services with the potential to dramatically transform the future of millions of people.

We’re looking for driven and passionate QA Tester who would like to be part of a team delivering real value to people that need help during the difficult times of their lives.

**Main responsibilities**:

- As a QA Tester in Service Transformation you will be part of a multi-disciplined team and will be involved in Functional and Non-Functional Testing.
- You can think outside the box, ask the right questions, and critically evaluate and communicate findings to a larger team.
- You will work with stakeholders to set priorities, objectives, and timescales to successfully deliver high quality outcomes that meet the customers’ needs and gives value for money by identify risks and resolving issues efficiently.

**Essential:
- Proven track record of working as a Tester, with experience of Manual Testing.
- You will be able to manage the planning of system and / or acceptance tests, coordinating both functional and non-functional specifications and provide authoritative advice and guidance on test planning is key to this role.
- You can act as an escalation point for defects or issues preventing delivery of testing activities.
- You will drive collaboration by aligning what teams are working on and highlighting the key dependencies, impacts, risks and priorities with stakeholders.
- You can lead reviews of test activities and provide guidance on improvements and lessons learned and other Agile ceremonies.

**Desirable**:

- DWP or government experience.
- ISTQB / ISEB qualification.
- Experience of working with ServiceNow.
