Working alongside our Engineering and Product teams, this role will support the Technology mission in successfully delivering critical and essential projects. You'll be working with others around the Ocado Group business to find great solutions to our unique challenges.

**What you will be doing**:
**Leading and Influencing**
- Lead co-workers and project teams on project tasks
- Respond positively to change
- Take on board new information and knowledge quickly, putting into action positively and effectively
- Share knowledge with project community

**Planning, Tracking & Delivery**
- Gather requirements to define project scope
- Create supporting project materials outlining critical paths, milestones and key dependencies
- Monitor and track the usage of project resource
- Support project team in delivery of project goals
- Support the organisation and execution of project closure and handover
- Build an understanding of key technical concepts and domain knowledge needed for the role

**Stakeholder Management**
- Assist the creation and execution of stakeholder matrices and communications plans
- Provide regular and concise reporting for key stakeholders
- Point of contact for communication and updates regarding projects
- Source relevant information needed for key decisions
- Identify both positive and negative stakeholders, and work with the project team to influence their positions.

**Facilitation**
- Support the formation and creation of involved teams and individuals to collaborate on project tasks
- Solve non-complex project problems independently
- Responsible for facilitating project meetings
- Help to create a productive and supportive project environment
- Share and distribute project information, outcomes, and follow up actions

**Risk and Issue Management**- Manage risks and issues using various tools and techniques
- Support your team and manager with the administration of risk and issue management
- Gather information to score risks/issues
- Contribute to risk mitigation planning
- Recognise potential risk and supports risk resolution

**We'd love to talk to you if you have...**:

- Ability to act autonomously and problem-solve in a fast-paced and challenging environment
- Knowledge and experience of project management methodologies like Waterfall or Agile
- Excellent self-discipline and personal accountability
- Experience managing project plans & budgets as well as an appreciation of other related metrics such as cost of ownership of products
- Experience in giving effective presentations to stakeholders with different agendas and providing compelling evidence to guide stakeholders to the correct decision or consensus.

**Bonus points if you also have**:

- Experience of working in a dynamic, fast-paced, commercial environment or organisation
- Experience working with remote teams
- Experience of co-ordinating or assisting on projects, using various project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc) within a structured stage-gated development process.
- Evidenced experience or improving project management capability and outcomes in a team or business
- Good experience relating to automation hardware or software development
- Good negotiation skills with the ability to listen, comprehend, consider and assimilate others points of view with their own beliefs and visions
