An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, motivated, and knowledgeable individual to support the ICB as a Project Officer. This is an exciting time to join the ICB and be part of a system wide team changing the way services are developed and delivered across the region.
The Project Officer will support the monitoring of various projects, collating and presenting information whilst working closely with other programme and project managers to coordinate key meetings including agenda planning, minute taking and action tracking.
This is a great developmental opportunity for someone who is keen to move into project management. You can expect good support and will have access to continuing professional development opportunities as required. You will be educated to a degree level or equivalent level of qualification. A recognised project management qualification would be desirable.
You will ideally have experience within a public sector or NHS environment and be able to demonstrate previous project/change management experience.
You will have experience of working with colleagues at all levels and be able to work as part of a team.
You will be proficient with Microsoft office packages with the ability to gather, analyse and interpret complex information and be able to present it concisely.
You need to be self-disciplined, have a strong attention to detail and able to keep motivated and focused, expected to work autonomously and have a flexible approach to the role.
To work as part of the NHS Hertfordshire and West Essex Integrated Care Board (ICB) to support the monitoring of various projects, programmes and provide comprehensive administrative support to the PMO.
The Project Officer will support the monitoring of various projects, collating and presenting information on the delivery of projects whilst working closely with other programme and project managers to coordinate key meetings including agenda planning, minute taking and action tracking.
The Project officer will be expected to use their own initiative, and proven excellent organisational and interpersonal skills, to make sure the PMO operates both efficiently and productively to ensure delivery.
Support the Associate Programme Director in providing written and verbal reports and presentations relating to the programmes, ensuring content is accurate and in correct format, taking initiative to follow up on any gaps in information with relevant work stream leads.
Design and implement project/programme monitoring tools, including highlight reports and identification of items for escalation.
Initiate and coordinate communications and responses on behalf of the PMO
NHS Hertfordshire and West Essex Integrated Care Board (ICB) is the local NHS organisation that plans and oversees how NHS money is spent and makes sure health services work well and are of high quality.

The post-holder will provide dedicated project support to specific projects within the Programme Management Office (PMO).
The post holder will co-ordinate key meetings including agenda planning, minute taking and action tracking.
Develop and maintain PMO templates; reporting tools and tracker/information system and make changes to these where it is deemed necessary.
Work with scheme and project leads to ensure that the necessary project documentation is completed within specified timeframes.
Participate in relevant internal and external working groups which will support the delivery of schemes and projects.
The post holder will be expected to use their own initiative, and have proven excellent organisational and interpersonal skills, to make sure the PMO operates both efficiently and productively to ensure delivery.
The ability to analyse and interpret a range of project information, issues, options, and situations across the broad range of workstreams within the ICB.
