Location - Welwyn Garden City / Remote (Hybrid Working)
Duration - 6 months
Rate - £500 - £600pd (inside ir35)
You will be part of a small Programme Delivery team within a wider Centre of Excellence team and will provide PMO support and rigour to a broad range of Finance projects that will touch all areas of the organisation. You will work with and support Project Managersto ensure projects (within your Programme) are delivered using the agreed methodology.

**Responsibilities**:

- Ensure Programme and Project Managers are using the approved PMO artefacts, tools and processes within all Projects.
- Support Project Managers with the budget, monthly forecasting process, reporting, planning, RAID, Actions tracking etc.
- Carry out independent assurance reviews on Projects and work with Project Managers to address any gaps or areas for improvement.
- Advise & assist the Project Managers in all quality related matters.
- Provide input and guidance in preparing for key meetings i.e. FCDB, compliance reviews, Stage gates etc.
- Support Stage Gate Entry/Exit to ensure all relevant criteria is met for Programmes and Projects

**Skills**:

- Self-starter with the ability to work autonomously
- Solid understanding of PMO process, best practice Programme and Project delivery methods
- Excellent attention to detail and comfortable working with large amounts of data
- Ability to juggle moving priorities
- Programme management methodology / qualification (MSP, PMP, Prince2 or equivalent) - Preferable not mandatory
- Good knowledge and user of Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel
- Working knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint, Teams and other collaboration tools
- Organisation skills (including time management)
- Data analysis and report preparation
- Results-oriented and customer-focused, able to interact and communicate at all levels
