An opportunity has arisen for the post of Quality Governance Support within Health and Justice Services.

This position is an excellent opportunity to learn about the key factors that enable CNWL H&J remain a market leader in secure settings, ensuring high quality care is provided to the most vulnerable in society.

It is a developmental and stimulating post for an ambitious Band 4 or 5. The post holder will also undertake training to assist H&J Services in future projects.

You will work closely with the QG manager and Head of Nursing providing assurance that services are delivering on H&J priorities by supporting clinical teams at every level; maintaining and building on the quality improvement agenda. The position also involves managing the administrative reporting requirements of several Directorate level meetings, overseeing the central programme of NICE compliance monitoring, QI, managing the production and distribution of the services 'Newsletters’, responding to CQC enquiries. Providing administrative and business support to the Quality Governance Team on all aspects of its business, including project management, onsite training support and other duties that commensurate with the grade.

Based at the Gordon but also offering on-site support for all H&J teams encompassing a wide geographical area.

The post will work as part of the Health & Justice Quality Governance (QG) team supporting activities across all areas of quality governance.

Working closely with the divisional Quality Governance team and H&J services, the post will have particular responsibility for supporting the governance and quality agenda. Specifically, the role will have responsibility for:

- Supporting and undertaking Clinical Audit; supporting services and the quality governance team to embed service improvements identified through the audit process
- Administration of clinical guidelines/policies
- Project support for the Health & Justice QG Team.

Under the direction of the Health & Justice Care Quality Manager, the post holder will work closely with clinicians and managers to promote, facilitate and advise on quality improvement activity within all clinical areas, providing guidance and support with project planning, data analysis, report preparation and the presentation of findings.

To provide audit and quality improvement link between the Divisional Governance team and Health & Justice Services.
