BDI is an award winning, structural and civil engineering consultancy. We specialise in the structural and civil design of buildings including Residential, Super Homes, Conversions, Apartments, Commercial, Historic and other structures. We work with Architects, Builders/Developers, Insurance Companies and the general public. Our modern head office has a professional and friendly feel, and is consistently busy, which makes the days go by quickly We are seeking an admin superstar to join our growing team. The office is split into two departments; Technical and Non-Technical. The Technical department consists of Structural Engineers, Surveyors and Technicians whilst Non-Technical side is Admin, Sales, Accounts and Support. Established in 2008, we have built a solid reputation locally and nationally.

**About the role**

Key details:

- ** Hours**:Monday to Friday, 9am to 4pm, 30 hours per week
- **Wage**: £6.40 per hour
- **Location**:Stafford Court, 145 Washway Road, Sale, Cheshire, M33 7PE
- **Apprenticeship Standard**: Level 3 Business Administration
- **Duration**: 16 months

Overview of the role:
This is a fantastic opportunity to gain practical experience undertaking a broad range of office and business administration, and attain invaluable knowledge, skills and behaviours that can be applied in all sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

- Customer service and liaison
- Mailbox management
- Raising orders
- Raising fee quotes
- Raising invoices
- Diary management and appointment booking
- Route planning
- Reporting
- Data management
- Supporting the office with adhoc tasks

Apprenticeship Summary:

- You will work towards your Level 3 Business Administration qualification across a total duration of 16 months
- All online/remote learning, no classroom or college day release
- An allocated tutor will support you throughout the apprenticeship

**Apprenticeship Overview**

The role may involve working independently or as part of a team and will involve developing, implementing, maintaining and improving administrative services. Business administrators develop key skills and behaviours to support their own progression towards management responsibilities.
