We are working with a family-run business who are seeking a dedicated, passionate and experienced Payroll Manager to join their small and supportive finance team on a full-time, permanent basis.

Reporting into the Financial Controller this position will work solely to fully manage and process monthly, in-house payroll across multiple locations.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

- Produce monthly pension returns
- Create and post payroll and pension journals
- Reconcile payroll accounting ledger
- Process PAYE, pensions and auto enrolment
- Process tax code changes, SSP, SMP
- Monthly payroll reports and BACS
- Review and implement new procedures and systems

Experienced required:

- Extensive in-house payroll experience
- Confident working within a stand alone role
- Pension experience
- Experience of implementing change
- Able to work autonomously and effectively multi-task and meet deadlines

Benefits include 25 days annual leave and a quarterly performance based bonus.

This role will be full time office based.
