Construction Administrator/Document Controller - Office based

Location: Lancing, West Sussex

Perm basis / PART TIME

**Salary**: £14.50-16.50

Monday-Friday 9AM-2PM

I am currently working with a medium sized construction company in the recruiting of a Construction Admin in Lancing, West Sussex.

Main Purpose & summary of role: To provide full support to the whole of estimating, from receipt of tender documents to submission. Responsible for managing the tendering process throughout the lift cycle from initial receipt to assist the estimation ofthe cost of the projects in order to meet or exceed customers requirements including document control and supply chain.

Main Duties:
1. Regular checking of portals and on-line sources for notifications
2. Responsible for the timely planning, management and completion of quality tender enquiries
3. Read, understand and extract the key estimating requirements from the documentation received
and communicate with all parties via Tracking Sheets including document control i.e. tender
amendments
4. Maintain subcontractor details and supply chain on database
5. Maintaining accurate records of tender expected dates, liaising with estimating
6. Identify opportunities to enhance and improve the tendering process
7. Liaise with the construction team for any thoughts on subcontractor supply chain
8. Liaison with estimators throughout the tendering process, including the notification of declined
subcontractors so that replacements can be made.
