We are seeking a compassionate and energetic Activity Coordinator to join our team. As an Activity Coordinator, you will be responsible for planning and organizing engaging activities for residents in our nursing home and beyond. Your role will be crucial in promoting social interaction, mental stimulation, and overall well-being for our residents, all of whom have complex mental health needs.

You will
- Develop and implement a variety of activities to meet the physical, emotional, and cognitive needs of residents
- Coordinate and lead group activities such as games, crafts, exercise classes, and outings - we have our own minibus so someone who can drive is preferred
- Maintain activity calendars and ensure that schedules are communicated to residents and staff
- Encourage resident participation in activities through effective communication and individualized attention
- Provide assistance to residents during activities as needed, ensuring their safety and comfort
- Document resident participation and progress in activity programs
