**The opportunity**

We are recruiting for a Service Desk Assistant to join our 1st line Service Desk Team.

**What you will be doing**

You will be providing 1st line technical IT support via the telephone and in person to NHS Resolution staff and external stakeholders at all levels. This will also include a range of clerical and administrative duties.

Shifts rotate on a weekly Monday to Friday basis and alternate between:
Early shift 8.00 to 4.30pm

Late shift 9.30 to 6pm

You must be able to work from our Canary Wharf Offices 3 days a week. From time to you may be asked to work more days on site.

**What we’re looking for**:
Ideally you will have a strong technical background, with good troubleshooting skills and a logical thinking mindset to undertake analysis, diagnosis and resolution of staff problems with at least 2 years’ experience of working in a similar role and customer facing environment. As well as:

- Administrative knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, experience of working in a customer facing role and carrying out administrative duties.
- Ability to work effectively in a busy pressurised environment with frequently changing priorities to meet conflicting work demands are all essential criteria.
- Detailed knowledge of: Microsoft Office suite inc O365; Microsoft operating system; knowledge of end-user hardware & software and Local & Wide Area network principles.
