The Contract Administration Officer lies within our Defence Support Group business unit and is responsible for the effective management of extant contracts, and administration of awards, modifications and updates, in accordance with regulation and compliance requirements. Moreover, you will be responsible for the update of any modification or update of the ERP Systems (SAP) for the awarded contract. This post will report contract management activity into the Senior Sourcing Manager, amongst communicating with the wider procurement teams, such as Strategic Sourcing, Contract Let and Suppliers.

**Who we are looking for?**

We are looking for an individual with great communication to assist in the effective management and transition of work with relevant stakeholders, such as members of staff/other functions within I&RM, the wider DE&S community and Suppliers. Utilising strong technical and administrative skills, accompanied with procurement knowledge will enable effective management of RFQ’s with suppliers and accurate input of all associated procurement admin information. Lastly, you will ensure that all actions are made in adherence of all standards and policies and in-line with Babcock Values.

**What will you be doing?**
- Overall administration of extant contracts from award release, modifications, updates and closure including the required business system administration
- Manage contract additions (Add to Contract) and contract extensions (Optional Years)
- Execution of contract awards, amendments and issue to the Supplier
- Management and execution of SAP updates, maintenance and release for business use
- Initial POC for supplier engagements on contract issues from award release
- Generate and provide contract / system management reports to support contract performance reviews
- Drafting and release of addendum and transparency notices in DSP

**The experience you’ll bring**
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in contract and/or system administration focused role (essential)
- Ability to pass required Security Clearance, SC, authorisation (essential)
- Good Excel skills (highly desirable)
- Good knowledge/experience with SAP (highly desirable)
- Maintenance, Repair and Operations, MRO (highly desirable)
- MCIPS L4 or willingness to achieve (desirable)
- Procurement or Supply Chain experience (desirable)
