At Legend, we're building next-level player experiences. With 20+ years of proven success we're the world's leading Sports and Gaming marketing company.
Our people are our edge. 600+ sharp, ambitious Legends across 22+ countries who move fast, learn quickly and win together. Here growth isn't a perk, it's the standard. You'll stretch, level-up and carve out a career as bold as the products we build. We celebrate wins and create experiences that people talk about for years - for our players & for each other. If you're ready to shape the future of player experience and enjoy the ride while you do it, this is where you'll thrive.
The Role:
Legend is excited to start searching for our first AI Enablement & Automation Lead to define, drive, and execute our AI strategy across the business. This is a unique opportunity to shape how AI delivers measurable impact in a fast growing company. You will be responsible for identifying high value opportunities, building business cases, orchestrating implementation (with internal stakeholders and external partners), and ensuring adoption across the organisation.
This is an individual contributor role with no direct reports, however over time, this role may evolve into building and leading a dedicated AI function. Why join us?
- Opportunity to shape and own the AI agenda at a high growth, fast paced company.
- Mandate & budget to pilot, execute and implement solutions without unnecessary bureaucracy.
- Work directly with senior leadership and our founder to influence the future of the business.
- Grow into building and leading an AI team over time.
- See your work in action, measurable impact, faster cycles, and outcomes you can point to
- Strategy & Impact
- Define and own Legend's AI + automation strategy, prioritising use cases that deliver measurable efficiency, productivity, and financial upside.
- Reframe business processes with automation and workflow innovation, not just AI alone.
- Translate emerging technologies into practical, business-ready solutions that reduce cycle times, save hours, and improve outcomes.
- Execution & Delivery
- Act as product manager for AI & automation initiatives. Scoping problems, designing solutions, and overseeing delivery (with external vendors, consultants, or partners as needed).
- Manage a dedicated budget, ensuring maximum ROI on tools, training, and implementation.
- Build repeatable frameworks for evaluating, piloting, and scaling productivity use cases across our pillars.
- Stakeholder Management
- Partner with our business functions, operating as a true cross-functional chameleon.
- Drive adoption through clear, positive communication that highlights opportunities, not just efficiencies.
- Orchestrate adoption and embed tools and workflows that empower teams and drive measurable business impact.
- Governance & Enablement
- Ensure appropriate training, frameworks, and guardrails are in place to use AI responsibly.
- Track and report impact, hours saved, cycle times reduced, revenue impact and make results visible to leadership.
- Strategic operator with a product management, consulting, or operational efficiency background.
- 7+ years' professional experience with proven delivery of operational/productivity outcomes (not just project outputs).
- Strong record of achieving success from cross-functional workstreams.
- Experience with workflow engineering, RPA, and productivity tooling (not only AI).
- Commercially minded, you can quantify ROI and build compelling business cases.
- Excellent communicator and persuader; you can win buy-in at all levels.
- Hands-on and outcome-driven; you thrive in roles where you both design strategy and deliver execution.
- Technically curious: familiar with AI concepts (e.g., LLMs, generative vs. classical ML), but not necessarily a coder.
- Lifelong learner with a track record of curiosity and self-directed upskilling.
- When you join Legend, you join a global community of smart, caring, talented individuals working together to deliver top results; striving to create an experience that enables our employees to do their best work.
- Competitive salaries.
- Matched pension contribution.
- Health insurance.
- 25 days annual leave allowance and two extra days to celebrate your birthday and a life event day.
- Flexible working to suit you "work your way".
- Annual discretionary bonus linked to business and personal performance. Long term incentive plan to share in the growth of our business.
- Individual learning and development budget.
- Recharge your batteries between Christmas & New Year (our offices are closed).
- Paid sabbatical when you hit milestones.
- Companywide, social events.
