Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge of HIU's and heat networks.

This role requires a hands-on approach to problem-solving and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment. The Engineer will be responsible for commissioning, servicing and repairing HIU's and associated controls, ensuring that all tasks are completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Duties

  • Assemble mechanical components and systems according to specifications.
  • Perform commissioning and annual servicing of HIU's.
  • Utilise hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.
  • Conduct routine maintenance on equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance.
  • Engage in heavy lifting as necessary to facilitate assembly and installation processes.
  • Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.

Qualifications

  • Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in HIU's is preferred.
  • Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations related to engineering tasks.
  • Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the role.
  • Plumbing NVQ
