Valoris Group are representing a leading district heating and energy solutions provider in their search for an experienced HIU Engineer to join their London team. This is a secure, long-term role offering excellent benefits, career progression, and the chance to work on high-profile district and communal heating schemes.

The Role

As a HIU Engineer, youll take ownership of service, maintenance, commissioning, and installation across a wide range of HIUs within modern district and communal heating networks. Youll be expected to deliver work to the highest standard, representing both the client and Valoris Group with professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

  • Service and maintenance of HIUs on residential and commercial schemes

  • Fault-finding, commissioning, and call-out duties

  • Carrying out installation, upgrades, and plant room integration

  • Producing clear, accurate, and detailed job reports

  • Working independently while contributing to a wider technical team

What Were Looking For

  • Strong experience working with HIUs or within district heating networks

  • Plumbing and/or electrical qualifications (G3, NVQ, or similar desirable)

  • Confident using testing equipment and completing compliance checks

  • Ability to manage workload effectively and remain calm under pressure

  • Full UK driving licence (essential)
